Designed to Pair Perfectly with the Bräu Supply Unitank

This stone fits directly onto the dedicated carbonation port of your Bräu Supply Unitank. Just sanitize, connect, and dial in your pressure — it’s the fastest, cleanest way to force-carbonate your beer.

Usage Guidelines

Sanitize thoroughly before use.
Install via 1.5″ tri-clamp port with the stone fully submerged.
Connect CO₂ via ball lock disconnect.
Regulate pressure according to your target carbonation (do not exceed 15 PSI on Unitanks).
Allow 12–48 hours for carbonation depending on temperature and CO₂ level.

Using the Carbonation Stone Accessory with Your Unitank

Max Working Pressure: 15 PSI

Overview

This external carbonation stone accessory connects to your Unitank via a standard keg-style gas-in poppet (ball lock or pin lock). It allows you to carbonate beer directly in the tank using regulated CO₂ pressure.

Important Safety Notes

  • Do not exceed 15 PSI, the maximum working pressure of your Unitank.
  • Ensure the carbonation stone is fully submerged in beer before applying gas.
  • Sanitize the stone and fittings before each use.

What You’ll Need

  • CO₂ tank with dual-gauge regulator
  • Sanitized gas line with keg-style gas disconnect
  • Carbonation stone accessory with gas-in poppet
  • Star San or equivalent sanitizer
  • Cold beer in Unitank (0–4°C / 32–39°F recommended)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Sanitize the Stone

  • Soak the carbonation stone and poppet in sanitizer for 10–15 minutes.
  • (Optional) Connect your gas line and briefly push CO₂ through the stone outside the tank to purge sanitizer and check flow.

2. Install in Unitank

  • Insert the carbonation stone through a suitable port or valve on the Unitank.
  • Ensure it is securely mounted and fully submerged in beer.

3. Connect Gas

  • Attach the sanitized gas disconnect to the carbonation stone’s poppet.
  • Ensure the connection is secure and leak-free.

4. Apply CO₂

  • Set your CO₂ regulator between 5–15 PSI.
  • Start at 5–8 PSI for slower, more controlled carbonation.
  • Allow gas to flow continuously through the stone.

5. Monitor Carbonation

  • Carbonation typically takes 12–48 hours, depending on temperature and target CO₂ volumes.
  • Use a carbonation chart and sample from the racking port to check progress.

Tips

  • Carbonate at colder temperatures (0–4°C) for better CO₂ absorption.
  • Low pressure over longer periods yields more consistent results.
  • Always keep the stone submerged while gas is flowing.

After Use

  • Disconnect gas and remove the stone.
  • Soak in hot PBW or similar cleaner.
  • Rinse thoroughly and sanitize before storing.
  • Store dry or submerged in sanitizer solution.
