How will you cool wort to pitch temp?
A counterflow chiller knocks boiled wort to pitching temperature on the way to your fermenter. Pick one up here or bring your own.
Add a brew table?
Welded stainless table sized to your kettle, with the pump and plumbing mounted underneath. Matched automatically to the size you picked above.

Sparging is optional — Unibräu was designed to brew with or without it. Either way, it's one kettle from strike water to chilled wort.
Heat
Element heats strike water to your target mash temperature precisely and quickly.
Mash
Grain basket holds the grain bed. Pump recirculates wort continuously for even, repeatable conversion.
Sparge
Lift the grain basket and rinse if you want extra extraction — or skip it entirely. Unibräu was designed to brew with or without a sparge step.
Boil
Bring wort to a rolling boil in the same vessel. Add hops and finish your brew day.
Chill
Knock wort down to pitch temperature using your preferred method — or add the counterflow chiller for fast, efficient cooling.
Transfer
Transfer chilled wort to your fermenter of choice. Clean the kettle and your brew day is done.

About the original Unibräu.
How long does a brew day take?+
A typical 10G batch is about 4 hours from cold water to chilled wort in the fermenter, and perhaps 5 hours with 120V. The 240V system gets you to strike temperature roughly twice as fast as 120V — the difference is most noticeable on 20G+ batches. Cleanup is another 20–30 minutes; tri-clamp connections come apart in seconds for a full strip-down.
Will this fit in my space?+
The 10G is 18" diameter, 28" tall with element-out clearance — fits a standard countertop or rolling cart. The 20G is 22" × 34", the 30G is 24" × 38". Add 12" overhead clearance if you're using the steam condenser. All three fit easily on the optional table, and the whole system can live in a garage, basement, shed, or apartment with a 240V or 120V outlet.
What's the difference between Basic and Complete?+
Basic includes everything you need for a complete brew day — kettle, element, controller, grain basket, pump, and all tri-clamp fittings. Complete adds the accessories most brewers buy within their first year: a sparge arm for even sparging, a CIP rotating spray head for clean-in-place sanitation, and a steam condenser to eliminate boil-off venting in tight spaces.
120V or 240V — which should I order?+
120V (1,650W, SV1 controller) plugs into a standard outlet — available at the 10G size only. 240V (5,500W, SV2 controller) is available at every size; required for 20G and 30G batches. Needs a Nema 14-30 dryer-style outlet.
Can I add fermentation in the same vessel later?+
No. The Unibräu All-In is built as a fermenter from the start — it's a different vessel, not a lid kit — so a standard Unibräu can't be converted later. If you want to brew and ferment in one vessel, choose the All-In up front. If you go with the standard Unibräu, you'll ferment in a separate vessel: the DrainPro Fermenter or a Unitank pairs with it directly.
What's actually in the box?+
Every Unibräu ships with the Tri-Clad kettle, low-watt-density element, controller (SV1 or SV2 depending on voltage), BR-32 magnetic-drive pump, grain basket, and all tri-clamp fittings and silicone hoses. The Complete tier adds the sparge arm, CIP rotating spray head, and steam condenser. Everything you need for your first brew day is included — you just bring grain, water, and an outlet.
What does shipping look like?+
Systems ship from our Vancouver, BC workshop and most orders go out in under a week.
What's covered under warranty?+
2-year warranty on the vessel, every weld and TC port, and on the controller and pump where they're included.
Heating element: 2 years against defects. Not covered: dry-firing (running the element without liquid covering it), and heat or melt damage at the twist-lock plug from a loose or improper connection — a proper, fully seated connection has to be maintained.
Temperature probe: 6 months — it's a consumable. Gaskets, clamps and O-rings are consumables too; replacements for all of these are in stock and cheap.
