Base ships with everything you need to brew + pressure ferment in one vessel. Complete adds the three brew-day accessories most All-In owners buy in the first six months.

Step 2 — Wort knockdown

How will you cool wort to pitch temp?

A counterflow chiller knocks boiled wort to pitching temperature on the way back into the vessel for fermentation. Pick one up here or bring your own.

Step 3 — Fermentation cooling

How will you hold fermentation temp?

Glycol cools the vessel's cooling coil — it holds fermenting beer at setpoint and enables cold crash + lager temps. Tap-water cooling (included) works for ales when your cold supply runs colder than your set point.

How it works

Mash, sparge, boil, chill, and pressure-ferment in a single kettle. The fermentation lid seals the vessel after boil so you pitch yeast straight into the same vessel you brewed in.

Heat

Element heats strike water to your target mash temperature with precision.

Step 2

Mash

Grain basket holds the grain bed. Pump recirculates wort for even conversion.

Step 3

Sparge

Lift and drain the basket. Full wort volume collected in the same kettle.

Boil

Rolling boil in the same vessel sanitizes it as it goes. No sanitizer needed before fermentation.

Step 5

Chill

Swap to the fermentation lid. Connect the counterflow chiller or cool in-vessel to pitch temperature.

Step 6

Ferment

Seal the vessel, pitch your yeast. Ferment under pressure up to 15 psi / 1 bar — temperature controlled via tap water or glycol.

What's actually in the All-In vs the DrainPro?+

The All-In is the DrainPro kettle plus the full Fermentation Bundle — domed fermentation lid (doubles as the condensing brew lid), TC cross fitting, 15 psi PRV, pressure gauge, manual pressure relief valve, blow-off arm with silicone tubing, cooling coil, water solenoid, fermentation temp controller, tap water connection kit, and all TC clamps and gaskets. Buying the All-In as one product saves vs. buying DrainPro + Fermentation Bundle separately, and it ships pre-paired so everything fits and works together out of the box.

How does in-vessel fermentation work?+

After boil, you swap the standard kettle lid for the domed fermentation lid, secure the band clamp, and chill wort to pitch temperature in the same vessel. Pitch yeast, seal the lid, and ferment under pressure up to 15 psi / 1 bar. The cooling coil + temp controller hold your set point automatically. When fermentation is done, transfer to keg under pressure or open the lid and rack normally.

Tap water cooling or glycol — which do I need?+

Tap water is included and works for ales fermenting at 60–70°F when your cold tap supply runs colder than the set point — most North American homebrew situations. Glycol is required for lagers, cold conditioning, or any fermentation below your tap water temperature. Add the BEF-02 glycol chiller at checkout (Step 3 picker above) — or add it later as a standalone purchase.

Is the All-In pressure-fermentation-ready out of the box?+

Yes — every All-In ships with the full pressure-fermentation hardware kit: TC cross fitting, 15 psi PRV, pressure gauge, manual pressure relief valve, and blow-off arm. No additional purchases required to seal the vessel and ferment under pressure.

How the swap workflow works: during active fermentation (days 1–4), mount the blow-off arm alone on the lid neck — krausen escapes freely into a sanitizer jar, atmospheric. After primary, swap to the cross fitting with PRV + gauge + pull valve installed — vessel seals, pressure-ferment up to 15 psi, vent manually before opening.

Optional upgrades sold separately (see the accessories below): adjustable spunding valve (replaces fixed PRV for tunable carbonation), beer transfer kit (closed transfer to keg under pressure), sample valve, HopDrop, and carbonation stone + spool.

How long does a full brew + ferment cycle take?+

Brew day: 4–5 hours from cold water to chilled wort, same as the standard Unibräu. Then fermentation: 7–14 days for most ales, 4–6 weeks for lagers including diacetyl rest and cold conditioning. The vessel is occupied during fermentation — most All-In owners eventually add a second Unitank fermenter to brew weekly while the first batch finishes.

120V or 240V — which should I order?+

120V (1,650W, SV1 controller) plugs into a standard outlet — best for 10G batches. 240V (5,500W, SV2 controller) needs a dryer-style outlet but heats much faster — strongly recommended for 20G batches. Note: 120V is 10G only; 20G requires 240V.

Already own a Unibräu — should I buy this, or just the Fermentation Bundle?+

If you already own a DrainPro or original Unibräu, get the Fermentation Bundle — same kit, $800, bolts onto the kettle you already have. The All-In is for new buyers who want the kettle + fermentation kit pre-paired in one purchase.

What's the warranty?+

2 years full warranty on the kettle, element, controller, pump, lid, PRV, solenoid, and all included Bräu Supply parts. Lifetime parts support — every component is serviceable and individually replaceable.
