120V Element Upgrade Kit

Add a 1650W element to a 120V Tri-Clad Unibräu for quicker heat-up while mashing and boiling.

Fits Tri-Clad Unibräu kettles. They have the second 1.5" element port this kit needs. DrainPro Unibräu kettles don’t have that port: for more power on a DrainPro, run it on 240V with the 5,500 W element.

  • 1650W ultra-low-watt-density (ULWD) element: low watt density heats wort without scorching.
  • Tri-clamp mount: fits a 1.5" tri-clamp port for a quick, sanitary install.
  • Mirror-polished 304 stainless steel: easy to clean.
  • Manual on/off control: simple to run alongside your main element.

What’s included: the 1650W element, a power cord for 120V elements, a tri-clamp extension tube, and 3 tri-clamps with 3 silicone gaskets.

Two 1650W elements draw more than a single 15 A household circuit can supply, so plug the added element into a separate 15 A circuit. Installation steps and safety recommendations are included.

Simple addition which makes a huge difference.

I think this is kinda necessary if you're on a 120V setup, but you really want to use two circuits. Very easy to use, very simple to set up.
